Jorie and the Magic Stones Children’s Chapter Book Review

Books related to mystery and adventures keep kids engaged. Once they are seven years or older children, love to read such stories. My son is all about adventures, and I am glad I was able to add Jorie and the Magic Stones to his book club. Jorie and the Magic Stones is an engaging read for both adults and children. It did take a while for my son who is eight years old to complete the book as we were reading chapter books for the first time.

Kids need to be thought about courage and bravery, and there is no other better way than books.  Jorie and the Magic Stone is not only a good great but also teaches values like kindness and honesty. The book was very well written and was very descriptive. Kudos to the author A.H Richardson for not only beautifully penning down such amazing story but also for such wonderful imagination.

Just a brief intro to the story without spilling out too much!

“When Jorie — for that is what she prefers to be called — finds a dusty ancient book about dragons, she learns four strange words that will send the two of them into a mysterious land beneath the Tarn, riddled with enchantment and danger. Hungry for adventure, the children take the plunge, quite literally, and find themselves in the magic land of Cabrynthius.”

An enticing story with fun illustrations. It would take some time for 7-8 years olds to catch up to the story, but once they do they will not put down the book till its over. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed reading the book and are hoping to see a sequel to the book.
