Best Productivity Books and The Order In Which You Have To Read

Prioritizing and scheduling can greatly reduce the chaos in our daily lives, whether it’s at work or home. And what better way to do it than by reading a few productivity books that could change the game for you? I have personally found three books that have helped me immensely to be productive. Make sure to read them in the order that I have mentioned!

The Three Best Productivity Books to read

Over the years, I’ve read a number of books on productivity and time management, and I’ve found that there are three key things you need to do if you want to be productive: prioritize, develop habits, and have laser focus. In this post, I’ll be sharing three books that have helped me to achieve these objectives.

The first book that I highly recommend is the “12-Week Year” by Brian Moran and Michael Lennington. This book emphasizes the importance of setting short-term goals that can be accomplished within a 12-week timeframe. The authors argue that annual or long-term goals are important, but short-term goals give a sense of accomplishment and urgency that keeps us from being complacent. By setting clear priorities and scheduling tasks, we can achieve more of what matters most. The author provides practical tips on how to set goals, schedule your time, and track your progress. This book helps you prioritize and schedule goals that need to be achieved within a certain amount of time, creating focus and clarity on what matters most.

The second book I recommend is “Atomic Habits” by James Clear, which reminds us that we are what we repeatedly do. This book is all about developing habits that will help you to achieve your goals. The author explains that small, consistent actions can lead to significant progress over time. He provides practical strategies for developing good habits and breaking bad ones, as well as tips for staying motivated and focused. By making small changes and being consistent, we can make progress in small incremental ways.

Lastly, the third book that I highly recommend is “The One Thing” by Gary Keller and Jay Papasan. which asks the powerful question, “What’s the ONE Thing I can do, such that by doing it, everything else will be easier or unnecessary?” This book encourages us to focus on one thing and eliminates the distractions that keep us from achieving our goals. This book provides a powerful framework for prioritizing and focusing on what matters most.

At the end of the day, I believe that the key to being productive is to take small, consistent actions towards your goals. Whether you’re trying to grow your business or manage your personal life, the strategies and tips in these books can help you to stay focused, motivated, and on track. So pick up a book, and start with a few lines.

It’s important to note that you need to read the book at the right time. If it’s not something for you at the moment, come back to it later. Remember, progress is made through small incremental steps, so take one step at a time and you’ll see yourself making progress.
