Books your Little Girl would love to read!
Here is Top 5 books handpicked by a little girl which your little girl would love to read…and here is her Little Story!-Narrated by her Mother!
My daughter was interested in books since the age of 6 months. She loved when I would read to her and I am glad books became a part of her life at such an early age. We as parents make sure we choosing material that fosters learning, improves her vocabulary and most importantly provides fun. Books also have helped her with imagination. Not sure if it helps you, but books helped us with potty training too 🙂 She would write her own stories with pictures as if she is an author which is fun to watch as well.
I thought I could share some of the books she loved.
Of her favorite material, Dr. Seuss always tops the list. Whether it is “ABC’s” or “Cat in the Hat” or “Fox in Socks” she loved reading them over and over. Dr. Seuss became an important part of our lives be it his birthday celebrations or wearing the character costumes for Halloween, my daughter was a huge fan.
“Fancy Nancy” series is another one she started reading when she was 5 years old and went on to keep at it for a long time.
Another one of her favorites is “Pete the cat: I love my white shoes” by James Dean which was given to her as a birthday party return gift and boy she really read it every night for a couple months.
And how can I forget “The Valentine Bears” by Eve Bunting? I was traveling for work in the week of Valentine’s day and found it in the airport bookstore. I was not sure if my daughter would like the book but bought it anyways. She was so excited, that she used the book for her book report and did a beautiful poster on the story as well.
Last but definitely not the least and probably an important part of her life, of course, was the Disney fairy tales. Be it Cinderella or Belle or the story about two sisters aka “Frozen” she read it all and wore them for Halloween, birthday costume parties, or giving gifts to her friends. Disney fairy tales my dear parents are a must.
